Invitations to Apply

If you are a successful candidate under the Express Entry you will then receive an Invitation to Apply or also known as an ITA for permanent residence in Canada.
‍
ITA’s are issued roughly every two weeks.
‍
Once an ITA is received you will be required to submit a completed permanent residence application to Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).

About the ITA

An Invitation To Apply is offered to any candidate in the Express Entry pool who has been selected to apply for immigration to Canada by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) through the Express Entry immigration selection system.

The Invitation To Apply is an auto-generated letter issued to Express Entry candidates through their Express Entry profiles. 

Receiving the ITA

Only eligible candidates who meet the minimum entry requirements of one of the federal economic immigration programs can enter the Express Entry pool. Candidates are ranked according to their Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score.

CRS ranks candidates based on:

• Core human capital factors.
• Accompanying spouse or common-law partners factors, if applicable.
• Skill transferability factors.
• Factors relating to a provincial nomination, a qualifying offer of
  arranged employment, previous study in Canada, having a sibling in
  Canada, or proof of French ability.
